Long day in County Down working with colleagues from Police Newry, Mourne and Down MourneMRT SARDA(IN) PSNI Air Support standing down pending further information - helping keep people safe!

Weekend Safety Patrols with interventions on both nights. First callout at 11am, half hour at home and the second hits. An hour break and the third comes in finishing at 4.30am. Fourth callout on Sunday afternoon.

The first Friday night Safety Patrol in weeks where thankfully there were no incidents reported and the Patrol heading homeward well after 3am for some deserved sleep. Helping keep our communities safe!

Heading out for the 8th tasking since mid-night. What is a weekend anyway?

So back home after the 8th tasking and away again at 7.30 for the 9th and now back home at half past midnight. That's a lot of folks who have been able to make it back to their families thanks to the joint working between CRS, PSNI, NIAS and tonight joined by NIFRS.

Teams currently responding to the eighth tasking in 24hrs. All times, all weathers. Try to keep yourselves safe out there folks.

With no sign of any slowing down and the weather worsening we now have the ninth tasking in 24hrs, with three currently ongoing.

Some of our teams make their way back to the RV early this morning following four callouts in the previous 12 hours with the last two coming in at the same time in the early hours. What's this thing they call sleep?

Another early morning call this time to South Armagh. All was resolved positively so our folks head on to start their day.

Districts were out from shortly after 3am to support Darkness into Light events showing solidarity with those impacted by suicide and self-harm. #DarknessIntoLight2022

Belfast Safety Patrol just now stood down for the night and others, like me, just home from a call to North Armagh (now 0345am). A positive outcome so all good!
