Sometimes I wonder how I went from a diehard Red Sox fan to a more casual fan to someone who maybe watches one televised non playoff game a year and then I see what they’re doing with Xander and I’m like oh yeah that tracks

This, plus the complete inability of cord-cutters like me to watch any regular season games thanks to MLB’s inane broadcast policies. Having in-market games only available on a network one can only get with a cable or satellite subscription in 2022 is fanbase malpractice.

I never thought I’d say this after the 4 WS titles and the promise of this core in 2018. But the combo of awful personnel management & inability to watch in-market games on non-cable tv outlets means I now have exactly zero interest in the Red Sox. I’m out.
