SCHOOL CLOSURE. Due to the ongoing power outage affecting the whole village, both JRS and Coniston Primary Sch will be closed tomorrow, Mon 29th Nov. Once power is restored a number of safety checks need to be completed to ensure the safety of pupils and staff.

Today it is 55 years since Donald Campbell was fatally injured in his Water Speed Record attempt on Coniston Water. Will remember Donald in our usual way with a service and wreath laying at the Memorial in Coniston, then a visit to his grave.
