Having done 4 retrofit surveys in the last 10 days my feet were like permanent ice blocks, so it was a delight to survey a #passivhaus with a toasty floor, not even UFH, just proper insulation. This stuff works.

What I learnt on Day 1 #futurebuild : hot water cylinder manufacturers have no interest in upgrading insulation as “house builders are not asking for it”. 50mm has not improved in 20 years.

Did 3 site visits around London today on motorbike, very convenient using the shared bus bike and cycle lanes through Southwark Council . At 20mph these seem safe for bikers and cyclists but how do cyclists view sharing them with bikes and scooters ? #cycling #buslanes
