It's actually quite amazing if I may say so myself. It's two things, really. First, it's a massive website, where you can watch/hear/read interviews with over 400 key people who've worked for the BBC since its birth in 1922 connectedhistoriesofthebbc.org

We were saddened to hear of the recent death of Annie Nightingale, the first female presenter on BBC Radio 1 and the station's longest-serving DJ.
