We were delighted to welcome European young farmers to Dowth today as part of CEJA Young Farmers conference hosted by Macra na Feirme. They heard from Dr Connie Grace about our research on multispecies swards and carbon neutrality and from ecology manager David Dillon about biodiversity.

Great to visit Devenish and learn of their sustainable practices on livestock using mixed species feeding which uses much less nitrogen, produces faster, and also allows biodiversity to resettle because of habitat recovery for endangered partridges. Beautiful
