Reminder for anybody that needs to hear it - If your sympathy lies with #Iran then your sympathy lies with the killers of British soldiers.

Nukes are said to deter war since nobody would launch a strike given they’d die in the counterattack. This logic doesn’t apply to fanatics - like the Iranian mullahs - who embrace martyrdom. Ask the 20,000 cruelly indoctrinated Iranian child martyrs thetimes.com/article/56bc38…

Why do MPs struggle to grasps the basics of politics? The country literally voted for the government to control foreign policy. Why are so many MPs so upset about the bombing of religious fanatics who have killed British soldiers for decades?

9years ago today Jo was murdered. I think about her every single day and am lucky to have so many wonderful memories, but the pain never goes. Whatever our views we must never normalise abuse, threats, intimidation and political violence #JoCox #Sisters #MoreInCommon

Not quite sure this is the flex the Tories think it is. Symptomatic of the wider post election conservative malaise. Criticise everything at all times. Complete scattergun. Totally ineffective

Damage to military equipment hinders the effectiveness of our military and by definition, strengthens our adversaries. This is not criminal damage it is sabotage and should be treated as an offence under the National Security Act.

The British military does not use lethal force to protect equipment. It does so only to protect life that is directly under threat. That said, these people should be charged with espionage with a custodial sentence to match.

A quick attempt to apply some logic and reasoning to the Brize Norton (BZZ) situation and call out the vile online attacks on the CO for what it really is - mysogonistic bullying. Thread /1

We now have a debate in Parliament on 14 July. But it is extraordinarily important to maintain the momentum. If you haven't done so already, sign the petition to show the public does not support the relentless pursuit of our heroes through the courts. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7257…

Just weeks after MOD launched the SDR promising to invest in service accommodation, Catterick Garrison has been left "resembling Birmingham" as bins go uncollected. The MOD says that the fault lies with North Yorkshire Council who blame the soldiers 🤯 express.co.uk/news/uk/207358…

The personal side of politics we rarely see, although we should hold off speculating on why she was crying. MPs should be held to the highest level of scrutiny but we must also remember that they are people, the majority of whom are in politics for the right reasons.
