There are moments in our lives when you can remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when a particular news story breaks. One of those moments was one year ago today, when we learned that the Nicola Faith had gone missing off the coast of Conwy, north Wales.

Congrats to our RNLI volunteer crew members who successfully completed more assessments this week as part of their development towards saving lives at sea. We’re delighted that one of our crew members, Sue, was passed out as fully fledged Competent Crew member too. #OneCrew

Conwy RNLI lifeboat was requested to launch last night to assist a 21-foot vessel in difficulty near the Fairway Buoy. Following an assessment was made by the helm the boat was towed to the safety of Conwy. Well done to our volunteer crew member, Matt, on his first shout. #conwy

When launching down the slipway, our crews love to end with a spectacular splash. We’ve got four great videos of different slipway splashes from across the RNLI stations and we want to know which is your favourite. Take a look and vote in the poll 👇

Our RNLI inshore lifeboat launched this morning on exercise as part of a mock operational assessment for one of our volunteer trainee helms, Rob. This included a joint towing exercise with our flanking station, Llandudno. All the best Rob for your final helms pass-out in Aug.

Unfortunately, despite best efforts, a life was lost last night on the River. Our deepest condolences are with the family at this very difficult time. Given the nature of this service call, of which our volunteers were directly involved, we kindly request privacy at this time

Last week 8 year old Isla and her father Ben had a tour around Conwy Lifeboat Station. On hearing about our recent shout involving a jetski incident, Isla wanted to do something to help promote Conwy RNLI and created this neat drawing in the sand. A big thanks Isla 🤩💛 #rnli
