Interesting tidbit from PIAA finals: Franklin Regional senior Cooper Rankin's dad, Bret, also finished as district (9) & state runner-up when he played at Punxsutawney in 1992. Bret's team was 28-3. Cooper's 27-4. "Guess he had that one win to hold over me," Cooper said.
