It will be very interesting to see how Russia engages with Iran in light of their January 2025 Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. I can’t imagine Putin would be happy about any requests that would undermine military objectives in Ukraine.

I very much hope the traditional bipartisan support in congress for NNSA’s nonproliferation mission will result in a restoration of funding.
