We are devastated to see the depth of the cuts proposed to the Third Sector in the EIJB Meeting Papers: bit.ly/4eZsPXL Our sector has an essential role to play in delivering key health and social care services for some of the most vulnerable people in Edinburgh 1/2

As a network in north Edinburgh we are disappointed to learn of the IJB’s sudden proposal to disinvest in 64 community organisations across the city. We estimate this will result in around £1million of cuts to services in the area. We cannot overstate the impact of this cut. 1/3

VHS Chief Executive Tejesh Mistry has commented on the recent cuts being proposed by Edinburgh IJB. What will it take for recognition of the crucial work the third sector are doing to reduce health inequalities? #WEAREVITAL

I've been working on an expansion of Speak for Yersel for the island of Ireland with Karen Corrigan and Louis Strange and it's finally launched! Excited to see what patterns emerge in NI, especially because we can now compare the answers with RoI and Scotland!

Did you know that in many varieties of English, this would be said as ‘there weren’t that many THAT/WHO/WHICH came to the door’? Did you know that you can tell us what you think about these types of sentences on Speak for Yersel Northern Ireland? Now you do!

What do you call someone from the country? Interestingly... all of those who responded 'bogger' were outside Dublin! What word would you use? Take a look at the maps for yourself, or add your own voice at speakforyersel.ac.uk/roi/ #Dublin #Ireland

If you're after completing the surveys, let us know! Or, better yet, send them on to others to put themselves on the map. Help us spread Speak for Yersel as far and as wide as possible so we can get a picture of Ireland in all its diversity. speakforyersel.ac.uk/roi/
