Last night was incredible! The aurora was amazing to watch, with its colors changing constantly as it danced in the sky. My wide angle lens wasn’t wide enough - the entire sky was awash in color!

I've been working on an AI cloud forecaster and FINALLY got it stable. This forecast of IR imagery from GOES has only 2 input images (the past 20 mins), then it rolls out a 3 hour forecast. It actually generates and decays storms 🤯

The Stefan–Boltzmann law describes the power radiated per unit area of a black body in terms of its temperature. It is a cornerstone in thermodynamics and astrophysics, providing a link between temperature and emitted radiation. āœļø

If Rational Arguments no longer work in US governance, it’s evidence of a deeper problem in our educational system, which favors what to know over how to think — how to critically analyze, process, & verify information. Seems like a bad time to cut funding for Public Education.
