Lots of great presentations and discussions on #cosmicexplorer at the #GWADW this week. Check out CSUF Physics grad student Alex Gruson’s poster with an overview of our design and science goals below if you missed it at the meeting!

Congratulations Dr. Lenon! Dr. Amber Lenon worked on the computational cost estimates for the Cosmic Explorer Horizon study as part of her dissertation

Dr. Brittany Kamai (Tuure), a Native Hawaiian astrophysicist researches metamaterials, dark energy & gravitational waves (LIGO Cosmic Explorer) as a postdoc UC Santa Cruz & Caltech. Her passions include exploring the cosmos, high quality science, & elevating the physics community!

.Cosmic Explorer has received a strong endorsement in the #Astro2020 decadal survey. Great news for the future of gravitational-wave astronomy!

Our PI Matthew Evans was invited to give an overview of the Cosmic Explorer detector @APSMeetings, highlighting the unique features that will enable us to tackle our ambitious science goals.

Will M Farr @bffarr Aspen Center for Physics Cosmic Explorer Interested in supporting Cosmic Explorer and developing its science case and analysis tools? Please join the Cosmic Explorer Consortium and help us build the CE community! cosmicexplorer.org/consortium.html

Cosmic Explorer PI Matthew Evans sharing an update at the LIGO EGO & the Virgo Collaboration KAGRA Gravitational Wave Observatory collaboration meeting at CIERA!

Help make the case for Cosmic Explorer to the U.S. National Science Foundation's NextGenGW Subcommittee! Submit a science letter describing the observational requirements for an XG detector network to meet your favorite science goal to help shape the CE white papers. Details here: cosmicexplorer.org/science-letter…

If you want to hear about the future of gravitational wave astronomy @APSMeetings, tune in to session S10 on Saturday! The session will start with a summary of the U.S. National Science Foundation MPS ngGW subcommittee report, followed by overviews of Cosmic Explorer and Einstein Telescope.
