Okay, it’s not much, and I had to slow the video down so you could see it better haha, but we have flurries at WBTV News in #CLT! Flurries will remain possible tonight outside of the mountains… Meanwhile, accumulating snow continues in the mountains!

Last night, a severe geomagnetic storm painted magnificent colors of the northern lights across a starry canvas over North America.

G4 Watch continues into 13 November. We have seen the final CME arrive and are now waiting to see just how much magnetic energy exists within. We know the potential for another G4 exists, but we'll have to wait for any related warnings. Stay aware at spaceweather.gov

Cold, but seasonable start to our Friday morning before temperatures quickly warm to near 70-degrees by the afternoon! Even warmer by this weekend! The mountains could see a few showers early Sunday, otherwise we'll be dry (just breezy as a cold front moves overhead, Sunday).
