Today, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) received the USA Govt to Govt (G2G) award of USD.1.6M towards improvement of Health Services in the City. We are very grateful to the U.S. Ambassador to Uganda CDC Global Health PEPFAR for this award which will run for five years.

Today we visited @HarrisIntLTD in Kawempe Division the producers of Riham products and others. Their new factory has employed many people in the Division and significantly improved the drainage works. Thank you for the good work in the City.

Today I joined the Council for Older Persons for a belated celebration of the Interl Day for Older persons at City Hall, that is 60years and above. The Day is celebrated on 1st of October to raise awareness on issues affecting elderly people. It was dance laughter and joy!

The day arose from the Vienna International Plan of Action on Ageing, which was adopted by the 1982 World Assembly on Ageing, and endorsed by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly on December 14, 1990, as the International Day of Older Persons. 2/4

The theme of the day is ; DIGITAL ACCESS FOR ALL AGES; a tool for inclusive development. During this event, members of council for older persons were sworn in. 3/4

The event was attended by the RCC for Kampala Capital City Hudu Hussein in his own capacity and representing the Ministers for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, His Worship Erias Lukwago, Sharifah Buzeki among others. 4/4
