1.Telangana and many other states are witnessing rise of lending apps which are lending short term & small ticket loans by themselves (without any license from RBI). They get access to all contacts before disbursing loans and in case of missed payment or defaults harrass borrowes

2. Such lending apps create whatsapp group of borrower contacts and name & shame the borrower. They also call the contacts & abuse. Please beware of such apps

3. Borrowers get attracted to them as their are no checks and loans are disbursed within minutes. However, such loans charge upwarrds of 40%-60% per annum, are a burden on the borrower and also on the lending ecosystem as they are creating a bad credit culture.

4. Few individuals have borrowed from 25/30 such apps at the same time in order to borrow a large sum and fall in the debt trap

5. At CredRight we inform the customer that we are a loan facilitator and the loans are disbursed via NBFCs or Banks which are regulated. We also have the utmost respect and empathy for customer and never resort to illegal means to recover money.

6. We follow a rigorous process of underwriting and due-diligence before recommending the lending partner to disburse loans. Customer first is our motto. Once again we requests borrower to be aware of such lending apps and avoid them at all cost. Keep safe!
