Wild Geese to be Remembered in Momentous Ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe at 6.30 this evening, 31st of August in conjunction with Cremona Heritage and the Irish Embassy in Paris.

An absolute privilege to be in Paris yesterday at the invitation of Cremona Heritage and Irish Embassy Paris to attend a revival of the flame under the Arc de Triomphe to honour all the “Wild Geese” who died in the service of France over the centuries. What a moving ceremony!

Honoured to join Niall Burgess, Irish Ambassador in Paris at the “Ravivage de la Flamme” at the #ArcdeTriomphe, in Paris, to remember Irish soldiers, known and unknown, who fought in French battalions.
