We are kicking off #AntiBullyingWeek with #OddSocksDay - a great way to show what makes us all unique. The theme this year is #OneKindWord and we will be running a number of initiatives throughout the week in school.

Last week Year 5 visited the impressive Ashmolean Museum’s Islamic Artefacts Gallery to enhance their History and Art learning. The morning was spent completing observational drawings, which will be developed in forthcoming Art lessons. Read more: zurl.co/YEa3

A snapshot of some of our children on Sunday, who joined Mr Barton at the remembrance parade in town. They put down the school wreath in memory of the fallen and had the opportunity to reflect, remember and pay their respects.

Year 1 have really enjoyed reading the story 'Billy's Bucket'. They enjoyed it so much they used their artistic skills and had a go at drawing the things they think Billy might see in his special bucket!

Year 1 have had great fun learning about their feelings and how they express them in a PSHE and Art project! They created colourful feelings jars, using a range of art materials. Well done Year 1! Read more: zcu.io/S0T9

Children in the Prep had a great time with Miss Blissett this week, learning all about the different parts that make up a flowering plant. The children worked with flowers, identifying the roles of each part of the plant!
