😖🤯🤯🤯🤯😖 At least 2 large multi handed part heard murder trials unable to proceed at all today at the Old Bailey due to a 'shortage of prison/dock staff at court'... They can't even bring ANY Defendants up to court from the cells. Absolute fiasco by HMCTS/Serco.

Is Gov wifi down in every court in the country "for maintenance"? That'll be handy for all those trials they want to get through for the backlog, where everyone's case papers on the digital case files... 🙄

Was there any advance warning given by HMCTS that Gov wifi was going to be offline today? Why should counsel & solicitors be expected to rely on using their own phones' hotspots to access papers and keep cases moving? If maintenance was required why was this not done overnight?
