The Scottish Parliament is creating new laws that will prevent homelessness, by allowing people to access support before they are in crisis. If the Housing Bill is passed, people will get the help they need earlier & avoid homelessness. How great is that? Like if you agree.

🚨 We're urging MSPs from across the chamber to back the parts of the Bill aimed at preventing homelessness – if enacted properly, these new protections could help Scotland build one of the most progressive homelessness systems in the world🏡

For three days, Eva slept on the streets, too scared to close her eyes. After separating from her husband, with no family to turn to, she was forced into homelessness. With support from Crisis, Eva now has a safe, beautiful social home — a place to rebuild her life.

We've joined St Mungo's in signing an open letter to the government urging them to rethink cuts to disability and incapacity benefits. These cuts will increase homelessness. They'll make it harder to find and maintain a job, and push people into poverty. bigissue.com/news/social-ju…
