Summary: 🐊 lungs are efficient due to unidirectional flow through a network of airways 🐊 can SHUNT blood R—>L using the Foramen of Panizza & the Cog-tooth valve & turn excess CO2 into gastric acid using special muscles 🐊 shift air in the lungs to maneuver (pendelluft) 25/25
