Agree. They are willing and prepared to work outside their comfort zone in order to help others. We need to recognise them and value their efforts. Perhaps we aren't always as good at that as we may wish, especially when the pressure is on and we need to be better at it.

Looks great. Always amazing when families dealing with their own dreadful tragedy still think of and enable others to have their life saved through organ donation. Organ Donation Management Team NHS Blood+Transplant @LivHospitals

Critical Care is a multidisciplinary effort for good results. The impact on even previously well people can be huge. Recovery and rehabilitation needs dedicated specialists and huge thanks for your hard work. Perhaps not as visible as the acute work but vital and many thanks.

Can't be said too often it seems. Staffing. Huge pride in Nightingale hospitals creation and may help in some way, remains unclear exactly what way but in truth always seemed partly about morale and good PR at time of crisis. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Great to see him recovering, glad got it done. Cancelling potentially life saving surgery is a last resort, continuing elective work if possible alongside acute admissions is a priority including working with other providers across the city. Thanks Luiz The Walton Centre

Congratulations, and to the rest of the year finishing exams in unprecedented times. Good luck, being a doctor can be hard but remains a great job and a privilege. @UoLmedicine LMSS 🩺💉🏥 Prof Hazel Scott

From the always excellent AintreeMajorTraumaCentre Thank you to all who worked over Christmas and will be working the New Year. You are appreciated. Sadly likely that the unprecedented situation will get worse again before it gets better. @LivHospitals Cheshire and Mersey Critical Care Network

Absolutely amazing generosity from a fantastic group of people. Nice to give something back for the support received from the public for all at @LivHospitals in a year no one expected or wants to repeat. Keep safe, keep others safe.👏🎄🎅 Shelter Carla Lane Animals In Need
