The Jetty, #Cromer, 1890. It was built in 1845. Strict rules were observed on this jetty. There was a keeper of the Jetty, whose duties included upholding that no smoking be allowed until after 9pm when the 'ladies would have presumably retired from their evening promenade.'

Make your way to the Friends of Cromer Museum stand at the Crab & Lobster Festival this weekend, it's on Evington Lawns, near the bus station. Hear about the project “Alfred Savin & the Fossil Collectors of Cromer”, - it will eventually run at Cromer Museum.
