The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Innovation Lab for Crop Improvement has been awarded a 2nd five-year, $25M grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to continue advancing its mission of improving global food security & agricultural resilience. news.cornell.edu/stories/2024/1…

.USAID is teaming up with World Coffee Research to boost productivity for coffee smallholder growers worldwide. The program, led by #FeedtheFuture’s Innovation Lab for Crop Improvement lab, aims to address growing production challenges faced by coffee farmers.

Climate change and weather extremes threaten the future of coffee. We must deal with these issues if we wish to continue to enjoy this amazing cultural and societal resource! Cornell CALS aims to solve this challenge via partnerships, innovation, and new management practices.
