🥌 Team Crossflatts! 🥌 We had a fantastic time this afternoon at the New Age Kurling competition! Thank you Bradford School Games

Outstanding efforts from our cross country finalists yesterday! 🏃🏽‍♀️☀️ Our year 3 boys team finished 11th place out of 21 schools. Our individual runners were also exceptional, Eliza came 83rd out of 146 runners, and Phoebe came 45th out of 145 runners! An amazing achievement!👏🏼

Year 4 had a wonderful time at the Royal Armouries Museum, exploring Roman artefacts, experiencing a Roman gladiator fight vs a Celt, unpicking Boudica’s story and joining the Roman Army! Thank you Royal Armouries for such an engaging, immersive experience! 🗡️ 🛡️

British Science Week 2025! Year 4 have been exploring the enquiry “should we flush it away?”. We investigated which materials change and breakdown easily in water so it can be flushed away. Toilet paper was the only suitable item to go down the toilet!

🏃🏽‍♀️ Team Crossflatts! 🏃🏻‍♂️ A huge well done to all our runners who took part in Race 3 last night! Your hard work, resilience, and determination were truly inspiring, and it was fantastic to see so many smiley faces out on the course.

Year 4 have loved exploring how the Roman Onager operates in their DT lessons. We have been practicing our sawing skills and have learnt the golden rule “Measure twice, cut once!” They had so much fun seeing who could fire their ammunition the furthest!

🕺🏻 Team Crossflatts! 💃🏻 We had an amazing time this afternoon at the dance festival! After weeks of hard work, they proudly showcased their routine in front of other schools. It was fantastic to see so many incredible performances and celebrate a shared love of dance!

🏃‍♂️Team Crossflatts!🏃‍♀️ Last night, our incredible cross country team hit the track for the final race with determination, teamwork, and unstoppable energy! 🌲💨 👏 A big shoutout to Phoebe in year 4 who has finished 4th overall in the year 3/4 girls category!🏅

U11 Football Friendlies ⚽️ A huge thank you to Crossflatts Primary for coming over to us to play a number of different friendlies, giving as many boys in Year 6 the chance to represent their school!

🏏 Year 4 had an amazing time taking part in their intra-school cricket competition! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been developing key striking and fielding skills in PE, and today was the perfect chance to showcase all that hard work in a fun and friendly competition. ☀️

🏉 Team Crossflatts! 🏉 Our amazing year 5&6 tag rugby teams gave it their all at the tournament against 16 local schools at Baildon Rugby Club! They played with skill, determination, and incredible teamwork, securing impressive finishes in a highly competitive event. 👏

🇬🇧 VE Day Celebrations! 🇬🇧 We marked VE Day in true community spirit today! After learning about the significance of Victory in Europe Day, we headed outside to celebrate together with traditional games, delicious cakes, and plenty of fun on the field. ☀️ 🇬🇧
