The energy price cap will change on 1 July, so you may hear or see messages to submit gas and electricity meter readings on Sunday or Monday. Submitting a reading ensures that you don’t pay more than you need to.

If you haven’t submitted a meter reading for a while it is worth taking a date stamped photo as evidence. Make sure it’s a photo of the whole meter, with the serial number in focus. You don't need to submit a meter reading if you have a working Smart Meter.
