As an Eco school we are encouraging and providing the building blocks so pupils have the necessary knowledge to provide and maintain areas in school. To showcase our work we entered the Primary Awards for Green Education in Schools and were awarded the Runner Up prize.

We are delighted to welcome two new teachers to our school. Miss Mackel was formerly a teaching assistant at the school and Mrs McCrory comes to us from Straidhavern Primary School with a wealth of experience in foundation stage and special educational needs.

Last term we held an Odd Socks day to raise money for Integrated Education Fund . We were delighted to raise £990 for the fund!

Today, we welcomed Paul Field, International Development Director at the JDO Foundation, to our school. Mr Field met the teachers involved in international JDO collaborative projects along with some of the pupils who were working on their projects.

We are delighted to have received our Impact Award from Autism NI which recognises our efforts to support autistic pupils across the school.

Mrs Moore swapped the school office for Hillsborough Castle today, where she was officially awarded her BEM. We hope that Mrs Moore and her family had a lovely day!

Today we are wearing our PE kits for peace, raising money to support the work of PeacePlayers - Northern Ireland. Each class is having extra sports sessions & fun throughout the day. We raised £120!

It’s harvest time at Crumlin IPS and our Year 1 pupils have been keeping us all entertained in their harvest assembly.

Our pupils (and staff) had a brilliant morning watching Birmingham Stage Company & David Walliams production of Awful Auntie. What a great way to introduce children to the magic of theatre at Grand Opera House, Belfast!

As part of their support for reading for pleasure, RFCA NI have sponsored Crumlin Integrated Primary School to receive a selection of books for their P7s. We were delighted to provide these books and visit pupils this week to help them pick a title of their choice to take home and enjoy.
