In a case series of central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia, low-dose oral metformin downregulated profibrosis and upregulated hair growth signatures. Clinical improvement and hair regrowth were observed, suggesting metformin's therapeutic potential. ja.ma/4dQzwL8
