First round of KY State Amateur championship in Lexington today. Old man was on the bag for Benjamin Davenport round of 74. Lexington Country Club is in immaculate condition. Looking forward to another chance to caddy tomorrow.

Another 74 for Benjamin Davenport on a TOUGH day 2 at the State Am. Well within the cut line so I have at least 1 more caddie round in my career.

Gritty playing by Benjamin Davenport in the third and final round of the State Am today. He fired a 69 (2nd lowest score of the day) to improve 21 spots and finish T-16. That finish is good enough to exempt him into 2026 State Am.
