Such a great time @RMTUnion Cuba Solidarity Campaign Annual Garden Party. The labour movement were out in force and thank you to everyone that supported such an important cause. #EndTheBlockade 🇨🇺 ❤️✊🏼

At the national meeting of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign, we shared with people who put a lot of effort and love in activism and aid to the Cuban people, Consulado de Cuba en UK accompanying as part of Cuba in the UK the British brothers because #CubaVencerá.


"The US government has long been the chamption of hypocracy, championing democracy while practising domination... Cuba rejects all forms of terrorism; we reject genocide." A clear message of defiance and solidarity with Palestine from Cuba in the UK at today's Cuba Solidarity Campaign AGM.


Unison delegate to Cuba Solidarity Campaign AGM, micaela tracey-ramos speaks to the importance of supporting Cuba's medical internstionalism, saying "We must combine our material aid with real political pressure to end the blockade."


Harsev Bains (IWA) speaks to the importance of celebrating Fidel Castro on the centenary of his birth at the Cuba Solidarity Campaign AGM. He quotes Fidel: "The younger generation, this generation, must work, must create, must improve our system. It is a process which cannot be stopped."


Lucy Coleman, individual member of Cuba Solidarity Campaign and NEU Oxfordshire activist, speaks about the importance of unions sending delegation to Cuba. As well as building solidarity with Cuba, it builds activism within our unions by showing another world is possible.


🇨🇺 Great to hear from Louise Regan and Pablo Ginarte at our AGM this morning. We also heard a lively discussion on Cuba’s medical internationalism and the Cuba Vive appeal, celebrating Fidel’s life and legacy and how to strengthen our campaigning with a second Trump presidency.
