A celebration of Chris Hilliard's life will be on Tuesday 15th July at 1pm at Wilmslow Parish Church (St Bartholomew's). All are welcome. Mourning dress optional. Come as your authentic self to celebrate Chris's life with us in full technicolour.

Today, @cyclewilmslow was honoured to be present to share in the celebration of the life of our committee member Chris Hilliard. In the services at Macclesfield Crematorium & St Bart’s, Wilmslow, we learned so much about the brilliant, unique and caring person that Chris was.

Our next open meeting is tomorrow, 16th July, from 7.30pm at Unico Lounge on Grove Street, Wilmslow. All are welcome to come along discuss cycling issues in the local area. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on the life of our highly-valued friend & member Chris Hilliard.

It’s time for another path clearance session, nicknamed a bramble bash, tomorrow (26th). Do join us from 10am by A538 Altrincham Road, near the Airport Inn Hotel, as we continue to clear the cycling and walking path by the road. Transition Wilmslow Walk Ride GM

Great work by five volunteers yesterday, continuing the clearance of the cycling/walking path alongside A538 which CEC Highways has not been able to maintain for a number of years. We’ve restored the path to its original width and trimmed back some small branches. Work ongoing!

Our friends at the South East Cheshire Cycling Group will hold a meeting at 6pm on September 4 at the Black Bear on the Square in Sandbach. All are welcome to attend.
