Today, @cyclewilmslow was honoured to be present to share in the celebration of the life of our committee member Chris Hilliard. In the services at Macclesfield Crematorium & St Bart’s, Wilmslow, we learned so much about the brilliant, unique and caring person that Chris was.

Great work by five volunteers yesterday, continuing the clearance of the cycling/walking path alongside A538 which CEC Highways has not been able to maintain for a number of years. We’ve restored the path to its original width and trimmed back some small branches. Work ongoing!

Great to see work by Stockport Council to upgrade the cycling/walking and horse riding route from Bruntwood Park heading south. We hope the very overgrown section near the A34 underpass (heading to Handforth) underpass gets a long-overdue clearance.
