Mother’s Day weekend at the DAC was filled with fun, joy and love. Family Bowling Night and the magical Youth Fairy Garden Workshop got it rolling. Then, a bountiful Mother’s Day Brunch honored the incredible women in our lives.

Congrats to banquet server Salah Chowdhury, our May Employee of the Month. Since 2015, Salah’s reliability, positivity and work ethic have stood out. He recently stepped up big-time, earning praise across departments. Thank you, Salah—you embody true team spirit!

We had a paw-some party at the 12th Dog Day Bark in the Park. Members and their pups enjoyed a meal at the DAC before heading to Comerica Park to see the Tigers-Red Sox game. A tail-wagging good time!

It was intimate, engaging and certainly Off the Menu, as Executive Manager Charles Johnson and Executive Chef Shawn Loving welcomed members for a conversation about the philosophy and future of the DAC’s culinary program. Sincere thanks to all who attended.

Members and guests savored the return of Cigar Night, a celebration of fine cigars, cocktails and camaraderie. After first cut and a stop at La Casa de la Habana, the DAC presented a decadent dinner, curated wines and raffle prizes—considered, refined and certainly distinguished.

Oh boy—what a magical morning at our Bring Your Own Baby event! DAC parents and little ones had playtime, breakfast and a visit from Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Thanks to Bri Brookins and our Catering and Special Events team for the wonderful day.

Today, Chief's Table members toured the Detroit Police Department's Real-Time Crime Center where advanced tech like face recognition, license plate readers and cameras boosts safety. Members also learned about Project Green Light with 822+ camera locations.

In an unforgettable evening with Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel wines, a curated meal was paired with elegant chardonnays and cabernets—a perfect blend of history, flavor and community. Cheers to all who took part.

The Mentorship Society welcomed immediate past DAC President Derron Sanders for an inspiring evening of insights and storytelling. From mentorship lessons to experiences in leading the nation’s top athletic club, he brought wisdom, humor and heart. Thanks to all who joined.

This Memorial Day, the DAC honored our military with two powerful events: a dinner featuring Medal of Honor recipient Earl Plumlee and a Murph Challenge workout honoring Navy SEAL Michael Murphy. Thanks to all who joined us in remembering our heroes.

This month’s Table 1915 dinner took guests on a journey to Emilia-Romagna—the culinary heart of Italy. A night of bold, refined flavors, great company and a true taste of la dolce vita.

A powerful tribute to the next generation of champions! The Michigan High School Athlete of the Year award ceremony at the DAC celebrated the talent, dedication and sportsmanship of our top student-athletes. Congrats to the winners and nominees.

The Literary Club was honored to host Robert M. Edsel for a powerful talk on his latest book, Remember Us. Members enjoyed an afternoon of WWII history, insightful discussion, a Q&A and a book signing.

The kindness, positivity and hard work of standout steward Terry McMenamy, our June Employee of the Month, brightens every corner of the Club. Always helpful, always caring—thank you, Terry, for making a difference daily!

The Family Activities Club knocked it out of the park at this year’s Tigers Bash! Burgers, games, face painting and a visit from Paws at the Club, then over to Comerica Park to see the Tigers vs. Cubs. A perfect day of family and baseball.

Smiles, snuggles and baby animals! The BYOB: Down on the Farm event brought little ones up close to the cutest barnyard babies. Big thanks to DAC Athletics managers for hosting this morning of hands-on fun.

This month at Table 1915, we explored the Bay Area and Napa—honoring icons like Spruce, The French Laundry and Coqueta. From refined Cali cuisine to bold Spanish flavors, June’s dinner was full of innovation, elegance and West Coast magic.

Thanks to all who came out for the 10th Annual Tequila Paired Dinner featuring Corralejo. An unforgettable night of bold flavors and top-tier tequilas led members to call for decades more of such gatherings.

We honored the dads who inspire us with our DAC Father’s Day Tailgate—delicious food, fun games and moments to cherish. From a hearty buffet to laughter across the yard, it was the perfect way to show Dad how much he means. Thanks to all who made the day special.
