Congratulations to our student Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him) on receiving this transitional fellowship. Well deserved we are all very proud of you! 🎉🎉

Congratulations to Pedro C Silberman, PhD, MEng on winning First Place at the Weill Cornell GSMS 3 minute thesis contest!

Excited to share my work from Scheinberg Lab lab out today in Nature Chemical Biology where we develop CAR-T cells that produce small molecule drugs at the tumor site. This is an exciting step forward in the utilization of engineered cells for drug delivery! nature.com/articles/s4158…

2.5 years of revision and over 5 years of collaborative work, CONGRATULATIONS to Thomas Gardner , Scheinberg Lab and all others who contributed to this manuscript 🎉🎉🥳🥳. This novel platform will change adoptive T cell therapy. My thesis work will build on this. More info 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

In our Scheinberg Lab paper we demonstrate that T cells can be engineered to release small molecule chemotherapies at the tumor site. We do this using bacterial enzymes. In the current paper, we use immunodeficient mouse models as a human proof of concept.

Stay tuned! This is a massive collaboration across multiple labs and disciplines at @sloan_kettering Weill Cornell GSMS Weill Cornell Medicine !!

Congratulations Thomas Gardner and our collaborators in the Tan lab for this awesome work! We show how adoptive T cell therapies like CAR T cells can be used to deliver small-molecule drugs to tumors. This is the first manuscript of many to come on this project.

ROCK STAR! Check out this article on our grad student Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him) on his recent Sawyers fellowship award! A Young Scientist Earns MSK Fellowship: Here’s When He Had His ‘Aha’ Moment mskcc.org/news/young-sci…

Congratulations to former fellow Martin Klatt on this groundbreaking publication! Using Mass Spec, we identify a novel target, NDC80, and target it with TCR mimic antibodies.

Congratulations to Dr. Bourne (Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him)) my younger big brother for an incredible thesis today! You’re truly an inspirational person in and out of the lab. A phenomenal scientist, dedicated DEI activist, and a monster of a cyclist! UPenn is incredibly lucky to have you!

Congratulations to my husband, Dr. Bourne!! Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him) I'm so proud of you. It's an honor to be along for the ride.

A huge congratulations to Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him) on his recent thesis defense! You've done phenomenal work, and we look forward to your future success. You will be great missed!
