HAPPENING NOW: Big endorsements in the race for Mayor for @AdrienneToYou. The Council Speaker picks up District Council 37 #UnionStrong and Tish James, along with some other labor support. First major union (NYC public employees) in town not to pick former Governor Cuomo.

🚨BIG endorsement alert🚨 District Council 37 #UnionStrong - NYC’s largest public employee union - is backing Mark D. Levine for Comptroller! Their 150,000+ members run this city. We’re proud to stand with them in the fight for working New Yorkers.

On Tuesday, we won the endorsement of the LARGEST public sector union in the city, District Council 37 #UnionStrong , which represents over 200,000 workers and retirees. WATCH DC 37's Executive Director on Spectrum News NY1 explain how their endorsement powers a clear path to victory for our campaign:

The Green Machine is out! DC 37 members are canvassing today in Brooklyn for NYC Mayor (Adrienne Adams, Zohran Kwame Mamdani, Senator Zellnor Y. Myrie 麥瑞), Comptroller (Mark D. Levine), Public Advocate (Jumaane Williams (@jumaane.bsky.social)) & Brooklyn Borough President (Khari Edwards). The NYC Primary is June 24.

Today, I was in Albany with Senator Leroy Comrie, Assemblymember Micah Lasher, and New Yorkers to talk about the importance of passing the FAIR Business Practices Act. Â We need this bill to protect small businesses and working families from unfair and abusive business practices.

Please take a moment to review the District Council 37 #UnionStrong endorsement list for next month’s municipal primary elections on Tuesday June 24th!
