What an inspirational MUSICAL week we have had ….Brass Recital, Senior Showxase Concert, Music, Charity, Love, Professional Recital, (outstanding) Masterclasses plus all the outstanding work preparing our students for Young Musician of the Gulf! DC Music Department Rocks!

Last weekend we hosted an inspirational recital and masterclasses led by Mary Nelson (Royal Academy of Music ), Andrew Smith (ENO), Gillian McCutcheon (Trinity Examiner) and Klaudia Olborska (NYU Abu Dhabi). Our students learned so much to enhance the excellent teaching of our staff

On Monday, 37 of our musicians travelled to Bahrain to participate in the annual Young Musician of the Gulf Competition. They have all done us proud. Pleased to report that 11 instrumentalists and 7 singers were successful in getting through to the second round. More to come..
