As you might have read, Twitter’s Curation team - which I led - was disbanded last week. 🧵 The multilingual team, located in 9 cities, provided content intelligence for ML-driven products, trends context and highlighted credible content when Twitter really needed it.

One thing that keeps me up at night right now is the possibility that Twitter’s potential death spiral will coincide with a major regional/national/global crisis. For better or worse, Twitter is a crucial disaster comms tool, and we don’t have a replacement for it. 1/

We've written to Conservatives to ask them to remove the “Tax Check UK" rebrand of CCHQ Press. This misrepresents posts on the account as an impartial fact checking service. Voters deserve better.
