Participating in the Community Advisory Board of the Minneapolis Fed means I get to learn more about community challenges and opportunities from an incredible group of other board members as well as insightful bank experts and leaders like Alene Tchourumoff and Hue Nguyen.

As a kid who relied on free and reduced-price lunch at school, I knew universal school meals would be life changing for millions of Minnesotans.     Feeding kids is the smartest way we can invest in the future, and that’s exactly what Governor Tim Walz and I have done in Minnesota.

Last Saturday, staff from DEED's Business Finance team participated in the Entrepreneur Expo in Minneapolis which connects micro-entrepreneurs and new business owners with organizations dedicated to supporting their success!

Spent the morning in Worthington with colleagues and partners from MN DEED's Vocational Rehabilitation Services, @CareerForceMN and the SW MN PIC where I heard their insights on how we can connect Minnesotans of all backgrounds to exciting employment opportunities in our state.
