Houston here I am! Very quick and efficient trip through immigration and quick baggage retrieval. Very pleasant flight as well (albeit very very long!) on the BA197. And another state to tick off the USA visited list 🙂

Wonderful day in Galveston, Texas. A bit like Brighton but considerably hotter ☀️ and more humid. So had to retire to the local LGBT+ 🏳️‍🌈 bar for cocktails 🍹 and air conditioning…

Hi americanair can you clear something up? On 6 Jan ‘24 Dr. Nick Ellsworth and I are travelling CID-ORD-LHR. When we booked (via BA) the CID-ORD was at 1520-1630 (BA1759). Does that flight still exist or is it now 1624-1744 (BA1760)? British Airways moved me but won’t move Nick.

Why do they always seem to waaaaay overmark Angela and Kai?! Is it written in her contract? That Charleston was dodgy. #strictly

Just finished this absolute gem of a book by Matt Cain having only started it yesterday. What a wonderful, touching read and all of the references to starting uni in the early 2000s resonated. And thank you James Robinson for being a great friend and surprising me with it!

Really bad turbulence on today’s British Airways BA193, resulting in my head being hit by seat (even with seatbelt), with Dr. Nick Ellsworth having wine and water land on him, cabin crew having to be seated. Captain tried to discourage report being made; clearly one has been made!
