I‘m honored and humbled to be the new president of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association DGKL. DGKL has been my academic home ever since I attended my first DGKL conference in Freiburg in 2012, and I’m looking forward to working with such a wonderful board!

Also, congrats to my dear Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf colleague Alexander Willich, who was re-elected as general secretary, and to all other board members!
