Whilst wind speeds are slowly dropping across the region, please be aware we're still in a Red warning, and there is a significant number of incidents still active. A lot of the trees that are blocking roads are not signed as staff haven't been able to access for inspection.

We've experienced huge impacts from Storm Eowyn. While the Red warning is about to be lifted, an Amber warning remains. Roads will continue to be affected over weekend/into next week. The dedicated roads teams will begin work at first light Saturday. orlo.uk/0vV0d

It happened overnight, but the A75 has now fully reopened following yesterday's closure. Please be aware, like all routes, that there may still be trees, parts of trees and other debris on roads across the region.

We have received reports of 999 outages, affecting landlines only, across some communities in the region. Mobile phones don't appear to be affected. Agencies are aware and working to resolve the issue. We will update once the issue has been resolved.
