Great to present at The The Crawford Fund's 'Doing Well by Doing Good' event and highlight the effectiveness of agriculture productivity in reducing poverty in developing countries, and the importance of agricultural research and partnerships.

Well done Rodrigo C. da Silva of Environment Institute - University of Adelaide on this publication. Important step forward to improved understanding of #soil mechanical constraints in sandy soils. Collaboration CSIRO. Thanks GRDC sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

✨What a week! Today we had Dr Dio Antille and Jack over from CSIRO working in collaboration with ACIAR Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade 🇦🇺 and The University of the South Pacific to carry out Taro sensory evaluation with the help of USP HDR students at USP #Samoa Campus & of course the #taro are tasty!!✨

Congratulations Taleta Bailey on your publication, great work “Opposing patterns of carbon and nitrogen stability in soil organic matter fractions compared to whole soil, European J. Soil Science” bsssjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ej… CSIRO UQ Science Mark Farrell CRDC

A brilliant paper by Taleta Taleta Bailey from her PhD where we disaggregate C and N cycling in isolated fractions in a long term irrigated cotton experiment and nearby remnant woodland CRDC European Journal of Soil Science bsssjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ej…

Just published #OpenAccess🔓 European Journal of Soil Science. In this latest paper from my PhD, we compare the dynamics of #Carbon and #Nitrogen cycling in #SoilOrganicMatter fractions and whole soils. Does stable C mean stable N? The results were surprising doi.org/10.1111/ejss.1…

👏 It was wonderful to see Dr Tony Fisher receiving the 2023 Crawford Fund Medal from Pat Conroy MP at The Crawford Fund #24CFConf. Dr Fisher worked in various roles at #ACIAR and is particularly proud of a book he co-authored which you can download here bit.ly/46FEebX

Want a closer look at what happens to your soil after a wet pick? How about understanding N cycling or cotton plant back? Friday 22nd Nov 830am - 1230pm ACRI, Narrabri CottonInfo Cotton Australia CSIRO NSW Agriculture Sydney Agriculture CRDC @csd_cottton Australian Cotton Science

Super keen to talk soils @ ACRI and present some of my Sydney Agriculture PhD project supported by NSW Agriculture & CRDC Pretty special to get to do this research in my home town of Narrabri!
