Best of luck to our local radio colleagues in Cork & Tipp today. Very envious of them, thinking about that incredible day we had in the lead up, during, and after last year’s final. Enjoy it folks, it’s magical!

For Pat Ryan and the year he’s had and the gentleman he is; you wouldn’t begrudge Cork For the grit Noel McGrath and Liam Cahill exude, you wouldn’t begrudge Tipp. May the best team win; it will be a cracker!

Tipp being wasteful here while they’re on top. This period won’t last forever; need to make it count, because another Cork surge will come #GAA

Oh my word. Cork down to 14 men. Eoin Downey sent off and a penalty to send Tipperary six points clear…… Darragh McCarthy…. GOAL!! 2-20 to 1-17 Tipp lead with 15 mins to play #GAA

Credit Darragh McCarthy for the character he has shown today. Had a lot of shit thrown at him between the red cards & the commentary around them, but he has been absolutely immense today

Congrats to Tipperary on a sensational victory. Defied the odds all year and that second half was just vicious stuff altogether. The McGraths; what amazing GAA people 👏🏻

Where do this current Cork group go from here? The manner of that loss will take even longer to get over than last years one, and how many of those losses can you absorb before it has a permanent impact?
