A big welcome to our Bodies in Play residents! π»π₯½
The residency has officially started. We've met the team and presented our soft toolbox for the cohort. We concluded the day by getting to know each other and our artistic and technological endeavours over dinner.
To get our cohort in the right headspace, we gave a summary about our Bodies in Wearables events and showcased the projects that came from it!
We ended the day with teams of residents creating a a kinetic wearable of their own. π§€ π¦

Kay is an artist and creative technologist living in Brooklyn, and is currently pursuing a masters degree at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU.

Michelle is a Toronto-based publisher, confectionery artist, and XR developer working on strange and silly multi-sensory immersive experiences in VR with an emphasis on sound and environment design. (1/2)

Maxwell Lander is a gamemaker, photographer and interactive media artist. They have been winning awards and exhibiting internationally since 2007 and, after publishing a book of photography exploring queerness (1/5)
