It’s been a big week for housing in DC. Mayor Muriel Bowser broke ground on Portals IV in Southwest DC and cut the ribbon on The Stacks in Buzzard Point. These projects show what’s possible with a bold vision and strong public-private investment and partnership. #GrowDC

DC’s housing system is facing an unprecedented crisis. Mayor Muriel Bowser's RENTAL Act is the urgent action we need. We engaged owners and tenants on a balanced approach. The Council Committee on Housing made harmful changes that will undermine our progress and prolong the crisis.






Thank you to the restaurant workers and operators who shared their perspectives and insights at today's roundtable discussion with Mayor Muriel Bowser Bowser and Deputy Mayor Nina Albert. The message was clear: we must repeal I-82 to support local restaurants and protect jobs.
