Last night I met with OC DNW for a development meeting. It was nice to take time out to talk about my aspirations, my plans for the Sector and highlight any barriers which he could help resolve. Here’s to a good 2023!

Merseyside Wing Cadets are half way through the joint AT camp with DNW. They have had a fantastic week! So far the cadets have participated in Moutain Biking, climbing, paddling, orienteering and navigation.

Tonight I met with my newly appointed OC Wing and Deputy OC Wing at our Wing Headquarters for my first Wing Staff Officer 1-2-1. It was really good to understand their expectations of me in my role, with some exciting opportunities in the future. Here’s to a productive 2025!

Last night I visited 473 (Hartlepool) Squadron as Wing Development Officer. I interviewed a prospective CI who is new to the organisation. I spoke with several staff, including someone wishing to transfer into the wing! Finally, I presented Cadet Moore with his Cpl slides!
