Finished summer 1 with “capture the football”; capture the flag but you are free to throw the ball to teammates when trying to score. Lot of cool small sided game elements & ton of fun. Definitely going to be doing this again.

The idea that you can’t build mental toughness is silly. No one is as tough at 12 as they are at 22. There’s a process of overcoming challenges that builds mental resilience. The problem is you can’t force that process: only individuals with a desire for toughness can grow it.

I would rather see 10 guys run 21mph than 1 or 2 guys hit 22/23. When the whole squad is fast, good things happen.
