On March 3, we were at the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Victoria with firefighters from across the Province to honour those that have lost their lives in the line of duty. Included in those honoured were #NorthVan firefighters Jim Maurer and Moe Conway. May they rest in peace

Congratulations to Firefighter Matt Saely, who was awarded the Commendation for Valour earlier today for his actions at the Silverlynn Fire. Matt bravely rescued several people under hazardous conditions and at great personal risk. Well done Matt- you truly deserve this honour.
