SAR R10 winner Quiet Confidence’s ($17.80) only sub-par recent races came when vs. race flow in 3 straight prior to her last, losing ground in “C” (Closer) races in 3 straight before the last win. Look for speed-types who lose ground in “C” races, info only in Daily Racing Form

Given the short fields and the heavy favorites it's tough to say for sure but it does seem the prevailing bias at this 2025 meet - "outside speed" - is in play once again Monmouth Park today. Can expect "2 path" frontrunners to hold an edge tomorrow until results say otherwise.

Simulate ($35.80), SAR race 9, rallied at DelPark last time in a race with an “S” (Speed friendly) symbol in Daily Racing Form pps. These are the hidden excuses pace symbols uncover. Such closers who also gallop out well past the wire, as he did, are especially likely to improve.
