Today, the Animal Welfare (Imports of Dogs, Cats and Ferrets) Bill has it's final reading in the House of Commons, and we thank Danny Chambers MP 🔸🩺 for championing this Bill. 🐶🎉 It’s time to bring an end to this cruel trade and finally #EndPuppySmuggling.
A big thank you to Iqbal Mohamed MP for mentioning Sunny, Ray, and Sky, three Cane Corso puppies smuggled from Romania, as well as Snowy, a heavily pregnant dog smuggled in cramped conditions. 💔 Puppy Smuggling has gone on for too long, it’s time to put an end to it.
In his first year in Parliament, Lib Dem MP Danny Chambers MP 🔸🩺 is taking the lead to ban puppy smuggling and ear cropping for good.

It was great to join the Dogs Trust Public Affairs drop-in event in Pawliament this week. I met with the charity to discuss dog control and how we can collaborate to enhance #dog welfare and better protect the public across the UK 💛🐾
