Taking inflation into account, electricity prices for the 🇩🇪 German industry were last year the lowest they have been in 14 years.

"We need to deconstruct the narrative of de-industrialization in Germany." Simply because most of the value added in Germany is not in energy-intensive sectors and because Germany can import precursors (eg DRI, ammonia, methanol) while retaining the rest of the value chain.
